Akademia Humanistyczno-Ekonomiczna w Łodzi rozpoczyna kształcenie w języku angielskim na dwóch kierunkach: Managerial skills and business management, po którym zdobędziesz tytuł licencjata oraz Management in international business environment, który daje tytuł magistra.

Managerial Skills and Business Management

Objective

The graduates of this department acquire skills and competences in the areas of entrepreneurship and management, essential for successful launching and managing a company, an organization or an institution. Our programme is also addressed to all those interested in enhancing personal competences in making acute business choices, regardless of an occupation.

Professional skills

Managerial skills are what the manager uses to assist the organization in accomplishing its goals. Specifically, a manager will make use of his or her own abilities, knowledge base, experiences, and perspectives to increase the productivity of those with whom they manage.

From the toolbox for what a manager needs in order to perform their job effectively we can distinguish categories: technical skills, human skills, and conceptual skills. During the studies we will enable you to progress in:

  • formulating and conducting business projects,
  • creating and introducing strategies,
  • creating and settling innovative solutions, especially in such circumstances as risk, crisis and insecurity,
  • e-commerce and e-marketing,
  • coaching seen as a management style and a communication method,
  • teamwork project thinking,
  • fundraising,
  • business environment analyses and accurate diagnosing opportunities for development,
  • practical aspects of entrepreneurship: finances, law, administration.

Management in International Business Environment

Objective

The qualities that make a manager successful may differ across cultures. In modern economy, most organisations operate internationally. Even executives based in their home country find themselves managing teams, suppliers, partners or customers in other countries. To add to the challenge, twenty-first century teams are increasingly likely to be multicultural. Traditional management training is no longer sufficient to develop the skills that business leaders require. Management in International Business Environment programme provides the cross-cultural leadership competence that has become essential for businesses and managers to succeed in today's global business landscape.

Professional skills

Studies at this department develop an understanding of cultural differences, the skills to manage internationally, and the knowledge to navigate the complexities of international organisations. Its goal is also to provide knowledge and understanding of economic specifics of international markets, accounts and risks, trade and negotiations. Graduates gain proficiency in terms and mechanisms of economical and legal procedures crucial for performing on international markets. Comprehensive Management in International Business Environment programme enables its students to gain and consolidate their knowledge and to develop practical skills consequently after graduation while efficiently managing companies on international markets.
